LOS ANGELES TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP OF WORLD The world's first bowling championships are to be played at the Olympic Games at Los Angeles in July and August of next year, under the auspices of the American Bowling Board. South Africa, Canada and England are considering sending teams, and Australia and New Zealand arc also expected to enter. The prizes are very attractive. The big prize for the, world's championship rinks (six rinks from each coilntry will be a £l6O cup and 24 gold medals; second prizes, £BO cti[» and 24 silver medals; bronze medals will be presented to all the other contestants.
