FARMERS' UNION EXECUTIVE MR POLSON’S STATEMENT EXPLANATION BY MR CURRIE An explanation was made bv Air T. Currie at the meeting of the Wanganui provincial executive of the Fanners’ Union yesterday, regarding a statement made by Mr W. J. Polson at the meeting of the Farmers’ Union held at Maxwell on May 19. On that occasion Mr Polson had stated that “tie had the unanimous resolution of the Dominion executive of the Farmers' Union behind him in any views he might express on the question of fusion.” Air Currie said that he had been asked by Mr G.
