BETRAYAL OF PRESIDENT
MEMORIAL TO WARREN HARDING SPEECH BY MR HOOVER Received June 16, 11.5 p.m. NEW YORK, Juno 16. At Marion, Ohio. President Hoovededicated the 750,000-dollar Harding Memorial. He referred to the late President as a “kindly, generous spirit,” and recalled how during the scandals of Mr Harding's administration, he was betrayed by a few whom he trusted. The same men betrayed their country. “That was the tragedy of Warren Harding’s life,” added Mr Hoover.
