DEATH-PROOF AIRMAN
INJURIES IN THE WAR A man who was stated by bis solicitor to have had an appalling number of injuries from aeroplane crashes, while serving during the war, was bound over by Mr Mead, at a London police court recently. He was Rodney Stubbs, aged 37, of no occupation, ana he was accused of obtaining four shillings credit by fraud from a restaurant. Counsel said that while Stubbs was serving as an air pilot, his injuries, caused by crashes, included the loss oi his left leg, which was burned off, and the loss of the toes on his right foot, which were burned. His right eye was knocked out and his jaw fractured.
