GENERAL NEWS The directors of tho Rangitikei Dairy Company have decided to pay suppliers at the rate of lid per pound for May supplies of butter-fat. There was general disappointment here on Saturday at the postponement of all Rugby fixtures. There was certainly considerable rain in the forenoon, but before 1 p.m. tho weather cleared, and the afternoon turned out fine. Bulls Domain ground was in good order, and both fourth grade and senior games might easily have been played but for the precipitate action of tho management committee in Afarton in cancell ing the fixtures. At Flock House soccer was played as usual. Air Jim Green, of Takaka, Nelson, who was a member of tho staff of the Rangitikei Dairy Company for some years, is visiting Bulls.
