SIR H. BIRKIN’S SUCCESS PARIS, June 14. After a gruelling twenty-four hours the European Grand Prix was won by Sir Henry Birkin, driving an Alfa Romeo, averaging over 88 miles per hour and beating Wolf Barnato’s last year’s record. Twenty-five started. The majority failed to finish.
