INVITATION TO BRITAIN MR HENDERSON TO ATTEND [British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, June .11. The Government has accepted an invitation of the president of the French Colonial and International Exhibition, conveyed to it by the French Government, to send a representative to visit the exhibition, and has requested the Foreign Secretary (Air Arthur Header son) to attend the exhibition on its behalf during British Week, which is being arranged in the month of July. In order to show the French public and the world what France is doing in her Colonial Empire an exhibition is being held shortly. The British Government is participating and has taken 9000 square feet of space. The exhibition will be . known officially as the “Exposition Coloniale Internationale de Paris, 1931,” and its actual site will be at Vincennes, near the capital.
