WORLD IN 300 A.D.
DEAN INGE’S PROPHECY LONDON, May 29. Dean Inge, Dean of St. Paul’s Cathedral, in a lecture to the Royal Institution, forecasted what the world would be like in 3000 A.D. He prophesied the abolition of war. tariffs, national debts and lawyers, and the reduction of taxation to a minimum. Politics would be clean, said Dean Inge. Britain’s population would be limited to 20,000,000 people, and propogation of the human species without certificates of fitness would be forbid den.
