In tho semi-final in the European zone of the Davis Cup Lawn Tennis competition at Eastbourne to-day,-Perry (Britain) beat Jiro Satoh (Japan), 6 —l, 4 —6, 7—5, 7 —5. Austin (Britain) beat Hyotare Satoh, o—-6, 6—2, 6—l, 6—l.’ Perry and Hughes defeated Jiro Satoh and Kawachi, 6 —4, 6—4, B—G,8 —G, winning the match.
