SERVICE TO BLUFF
STEAMER FOR MELBOURNE LARLY RESUMPTION Resumption of the Bluff-MclbouriK passenger steamer service is likely each in the spring some time before the tour ist traffic really sets in. This inform ation was given by the Minister of In ternal Affairs, the, Hon. P. A. de Is Fcrrelle, to a deputation from the Bluff Borough Council which waited on hin ar Bluff recently. Mr Perrcllc mentioned that the Ma hemi had beer, taken off tl>‘ run Io ward the end of the last year as the company said that even with the. Government subsidy the service could not be continued without a loss. He has since been in touch with the company and the Government had provided hin' with the necessary means to ensure a regular service to commence in the early spring.
