Another attempt to simplify fhc 30,000 ideographs constituting the ('hincso writing language has been made, in the introduction of “JJu graphy.” a shorthand system based on phonetic/. The inventor, Liu Hsueh-chun, claims that this now device enables a person to write .180 characters a minute. It is said that anyone knowing tin; Chinese language can learn it within three months.
