SIR H. WILKINS’ SUBMARINE TURBULENT SEAS MET WITH (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright.) Received Juno 12. 10.20 p.m. NEW YORK. June 11. Sir Hubert Wilkins’ submarine encountered turbulent seas en route to England, but is pushing steadily along 1300 miles out from Boston. When the Nautilus left America-for England. Air Vilhjalniur Stefansson, the noted Canadian explorer, said he had doubts whether the craD would reach the icefields. He added: “The. chief danger is a breakdown in mid-At antic. The engines may not stand the strain. That really is the hardest part, of the trip, and that is giving Sir Hubert anxiety. Once he reaches the polar area the worst will bo over.”
