WILKINS’ EXPEDITION
BACKED BY FOKKER. NEW LONDON (U.S.) June 5. Anthony Fokker, the Dutch aeroplane designer, after a trip aboard the submarine Nautilus, in which Sir Hubert Wilkins will make his polar expedition announced that he was one of the backers of the expedition. He said he had enjoyed the trip as <»r.c of the most interesting ia his life, and he was confident of the complete success of the expedition. The submarine, said Fokker, showed good manoeuvring ability, and there could be no doubt of its ultimate triumph. <
