Answering a question in the House of Commons regarding the Chequers discussion with the German Ministers, Ji> Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay MacDonald) said that as regards the scope if the discussion he could not add anything to the official communique. As had always been intended, the discussions took the form of a general exchange of views, and no conclusions or decisions were reached other than those set forth in the communique.
