Dear Wendy.--Here I am again. It is quite a long time since I last wrote to you. isn’t it? Do you like autumn leaves, Wendy? 1 think they are lovely. They are very pretty in the vases with chrysanthemums, we have nearly finished weeding our strawberry beds. Next season I hope to send you some. I meant to last season. Doesn’t “Ben” write nice letters? I have asked my cousin, Colin, of Australia, to join the H4ll. He has not answered my letter yet. 1 hope he will join our happy band. My mothe" i has had a very sore arm, and I have been I doing the cooking and housework. It is a ' little better now. I hope “Old Gran’ 'will soon get better, too.
