My goodness, Wendy, ? isn't Jack Frost nippy now in the mornings? When I see "Golden Sunset" riding off tn school in the cold mornings I ought to think myself a lucky little girl to be able to stop inside by the fire. I am looking forward to the children’s fancy dress If-11. which iti on the 19th of this month. I always go in a fancy costume, too. I have I got a very sore toe so mother has been tying e it up for me to get it better. Well, Wendy, j I have no more to write about, so I will stop now, with love to yourself and all the Ites. ® —From “LITTLE LORNA DOONE," r l Porewa, I How jolly of you, dear, tn be sure and I attend our re-union this Letterland Day. Jack Frost is so busy now, is he not? You are n lucky to be able to stay by the fire these c cold mornings. I do hope you spend a t happy time at the ball. You will not fore get to tell me all about it, will you? I H hope also that your poor toe will be better e in time.—Wendy.
