THREE PLAYS PRESENTED A programme of three one-act plays was presented by the literary and dramatic circle of the Lady Jellicoc Club before a very large audience in the club rooms last evening. The delightful settings of the stage lent an added charm to the plays. An amusing comedy ‘‘The Twelve Pound Look,” by Sir James Barrie, was the first play presented. The parts were taken by Miss E. Worry, Miss E. MeKirdy, Mr Eric Lind and Mr Harold Hcan. The title roles in the second play “Pan of Pimlico,” by Helen Simpson, were taken by Mrs S. Rankin, Airs R. Howie, Miss E. Newton, and Air H. Hcan. The third play, “The Marble God,” a comedy by Stephen Schofield, was the other successful presentation. The parts were well taken by Airs U. Williams, Airs W. Gibson, Air Peter Dickson and Air H. A'. M. Haszard. The pkivs were produced by Edith Alorris. During the interludes between the plays Airs S. Rankin played “ Fantasy Impromptu.” by Chopin and Afiss E. Newton played “ Rhapsody in G Minor,” by Brahms. The plays will be repeated on Saturday evening. Among those present were: —Afrs H. V.
