’PLANE AT WESTPORT

WELLINGTON AIRMAN’S VISIT. [ Per Pres.. Association. ] WESTPORT, May 24. Mr C. AT. Duthie, of Wellington, accompanied by Mr Mat Martin, a native of West port, arrived in a Moth aero plane from. Wellington at 5 p.m. on Saturday, coining via Blenheim, where they stayed for an hour. The weather was (inc all the way and they got. an excellent view of the earthquake-scat to red country en route. Mr Duthie, accompanied by Air J. Kilkenny, left on the return trip at 1 p.m., visibility being poor, owing to misty rain prevailing. Mr Duthie was hopeful, however, of running into liner weather as he made north.
