THE WINTER MEETING Brilliant sunshine again greeted racegoers on Saturday for the second day’s meeting of tho Wanganui Jockey Club. Tweed suits in all their subdued colourings, two-piece ensembles, coats smartly tailored and trimmed with fur and fur coats were favourites. Black, black and white, autumn browns and fawns, dark red* and greens were popular. Here and there a jersey suit of gay orange and scarves and berets of vivid hue, provided a bright splash of colour among the sombre browns and blacks.
