“FAIRY KEWPIE’S" BUDGET OF NEWS
Dear "Wendy,—Here I am again writing a letter to you. We have had examinations at school. I received 282 for my total marks. My little baby brother will soon be a year old. My brother. Alan, was four on Monday, and he had a birthday party, and a cake with four candles on it. “Dawn Fairy” came to stay with me for the week-end, and had good fun playing with my doll and tea-set. Some day when mother takes a snap of me I will send you one. The trees tell ns that King Winter is busy at his work. The poplars are wearing their yellow frocks just now. We have a new black Persian kitten. We have called it “Mack.” Our big Persian cat growls at it. 1 will close now. Lots of love—From vour Ite, “FAIRY KEWPIE,” Ngaturi. How jolly of you to write this week, dear. I. wondered how you fared of late. How well you have done? 1 am so proud of you. You will work hard the rest of the year, and pass in the final test, won’t you? How lucky Alan was. T shall be very pleased to have the snap of you. What a nic<» name you have chosen for your now kit ten.—Wendv.
