KIDNAPPING OF JEWELLER CRIME WAS REHEARSED SYDNEY, May 8. It was discovered that the reason why the kidnapping of Mr Solomon Cohen on Wednesday night and the subsequent robbery of diamonds from his shop was so successfully and swiftly carried out was because the entire ' crime had been rehearsed. Before the robbery the gang went > through the actions of kidnapping a man and securing his keys, and another car rushed back to the city and made a pretence of watching the policeman on the beat and robbing the shop, ; thereafter joining the other section of i the gang.
