SOLICITOR IN TROUBLE
EXTRADITION ORDER WANTED IN WALES [ Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 12. Application for extradition to Wales of Wilfred Wilson Legge, aged 26, who is alleged to be an absconding solicitor from Britain, was made in the Police Court to-day. Accused was charged that on or hbout January 7, 1930, in tho county of Flint, Wales, with intent to defraud, ho forged a mortgage to securo payment of £6OO. It was further alleged that, having secured payment of £6OO for Elizabeth Hulnie, accused unlawfully and fraudulently converted the money to his own use. Detective-Sergeant Kelly said that at the time of the commission of tho alleged offences accused was practising as a solicitor in Afold, Wales. Tho magistrate committed Legge to prison pending the issue of the extradition order.
