AKRESTED MAN CHARGED ( REMANDED TO NEW PLYMOUTH ACCUSED IN COURT (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, May 33. Walter John Tinsley, aged 25, who was arrested in Masterton last night, appeared at the Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with tne murder of Nana Chhiba, Indian fruiterer, at Hawcra, between 11 p.m. on January 31, • 1931, and 11 p.m. on February 1, .1931. , On the application of Senior Detec- ] five Quirko, of Now Plymouth, accused was remanded to appear at New Ply- . mouth on Alay 20. SHORT RESIDENCE IN HAWERA ( Per Pcpßs Association. ) HAWERA, May 13. Tinsley came from Johnsonville to Hawera early in January, where ho resided from January 17 until three weeks ago, when ho left for Masterton. He was employed by a local linker. His wife did not accompany him to Hawera. but arrived here later, e leaving again after a brief stay. He ,s boarded at a hotel a short distance t, from Chhiba’s shop.
