COMPLETE RECOVERY WILL ATTEND PERFORMANCE [British Official Wire les.-, j RUGBY; May ’ll. - • In view of the King’s recent illness it was feared that he would not be able to attend the variety performance to be given at the Palladium in aid of lhe Variety Artists’ Benevolent Institution. Milder weather, however, has hastened His Majesty’s return to health and his medical advisers are of the opinion that the King has now made a •complete recovery. Therefore His Majesty will attend the performance, at which famous stars of the variety stage will appear, having given their services.
