“FOLLOW THRU” Black-haired, black-eyed, handsome Charles Rogers and red-haired, blueeyed Nancy Carroll, the lovers ol “Abie’s Irish Rose.” of “Close Harmony,” make a “peach of a pair” in Paramount’s all-Technicolour moving picture production of the famous Schwab and Mandel stage hit, “Follow Thru.” “Follow Thru,” which will open tomorrow at the Grand Theatre, is a love story with a golf club setting and a world of vomedy. Laurence Schwab, himself, went to Hollywood to direct it in conjunction with Lloyd Corrigan, taking with him everything he necdec from the original two-year Broadway hit, including Zelma O’Neal and Jack Haley, its lively, youthful, convulsing comic leads. Also he took with him the catchy song hits, including “Button un your Overcoat,” and Paramount song l iters supplied him with a few new ones. There are a number of tuneful songs featured in “Follow Thru.” Zelma O’Neal sings two ’ its, “Button Up Your Overcoat” and “I Want to Be Bad.” Charles Rogers and Nancy Carroll introduce a new song which promises to bo the hit of the season. It is called “A Peach of a Pair.” Two other numbers are, “It 'Must Be You” and “Then I’ll Have Timo For You.” “Follow Thru,’ beautifully photographed throughout by the newly perfected technicolour process, was directed bv Laurence Schwab and Lloyd Corrigan. There will be a special morning matinee at 1 lo’clock.
