Afore rioting occurred on the south coast to-day over tho distribution of food relief orders. A disturbance occurred at Port Kembla, where 300 men objected to being compelled to line up in a queue in stead of as formerly being allowed to enter the hall in a solid body. Twenty police attempted to keep order and were hooted and finally compelled to charge the disturbers with batons. Several were injured and one policeman was felled with a stone. Order was then restored. Yesterday’s disturbances at Bulli resulted in 16 arrests. The police last night raided a number of homes of men, seizing all manner of dangerous weapons, including heavy waddics, sling shots, pieces of pipe and pic k handles.
