In the House of Commons, Air Gillett joined with other members in paying a tribute to the Prince ot Wales for his unique services to overseas trade. Ho hoped that the Prince’s speeches in the provinces would be noted. Air W. Graham (President of the Board of Trade) told a questioner that the Board approved of the registration a national mark for British-made The Prince of Wales and Prince George toured Birmingham districts and paid surprise visits to factories, giving special attention to tho manufactures of the South American marAddressing 1250 manufacturers at a dinner at Birmingham, tho Prince ot Wales said that a most serious industrial crisis had decided him to go to South America, but on returning he found the situation even worse. He had made a point in South America of getting to know, individually, everyone selling British goods. He undertook to offer himself as a sort of liason officer between the sellers and nianufac turers, ami to pool experiences in order to take advantage of tho first sign of the lifting of the economic clouds.
