The Ex-Kaiser
GERMAN PRINCE’S MEMOIRS PUBLICATION SUSPENDED [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received May 12, ,11.5 p.m. LONDON, Al ay J2. Prince von Bulow’s memoirs, which were to have been published in England yesterday, were suspended owing to a threat by Lord Lonsdale that he would hold the publishers responsible for libel. The memoirs, according to the Daily Herald, blamed Lord Lonsdale for causing mischief between King Edward the Seventh and the Ex-Kaiser. Lord Lonsdale, commenting on the book, remarked: “What is written about me is pure imagination.” The publishers announce that they are recalling all copies of Prince von Bulow’s memoirs with the object of making the, alterations necessary to meet Lord Lonsdale’s views.
