The Largest Mushroom. The claim of Taranaki to have grown the largest mushroom of the season is challenged in Auckland. Recently. Mrs H. Ashby, of Waihi, picked a mushroom measuring 104 in. by Ilin, on the Waihi Plains. It was sent to a Sandringham family and made a meal for two people. The 'l’aranaki mushroom ineasurcil Pin. across.
