SHARP EARTHQUAKE
SOME ALARM AT ROTORUA LOUD REPORT WITH SHOCK ROTORUA, May 11. A sharp earthquake occurred aero at 5.50 p.m. It came with a jolting motion and commenced with a loud report. It was the most severe shake since February, but was of quite a different typo, its origin apparently being local. There was some alarm here, but no damage.
