The Daily Mail says that 10,000 barrels of .Soviet butter arriving to-day arc expected further to depress Australian and New Zealand prices. A member of the House of Commons, Mr Remer, is asking Mr W. Graham, President of the Bor.rd of Trade, whe ther he realises the merchants’ difficulties due to the sale of Russian but ter below Empire costs of production, and if he intend/ to prohibit Soviet imports. Sir William Wayland declares that New Zealand is losing heavily upon exports to Britain owing to the Soivet’s policy of depressing tho market in order to cause an Empire crisis. Soviet butter blended with Australian and New Zealand is rega’ded as sheer trickery, for which a butter-marking order
