OBITUARY
MR H. G. HERRINGSHAW Another old resident of Wanganui passed away last Saturday in the person of Mr Henry George Herringshaw, of 30 Harrisan Street. Air Herringshaw had lived in Wanganui for 57 years; during that time he was employed with Mr David Bell for seve years, Air O. G. X Harvey for eight years and for 29 years he filled the position of head storeman for Messrs Cock and Co., retiring from the last-named firm on superannuation. For over 30 years Air Herringshaw was an elder of the Baptist Church, and during his long stay in Wanganui had made himself loved and respected by all those who knew him. He was 87 years of age. Airs Herringshaw and two daughters, Mr U Woods (Blenheim) and Airs IL Howell (Gon ville) are left.
