RECORD LAMB SHIPMENTS
SMITHFIELD TRICES IMPROVE Received Afav 10. 5.5 p.m. LONDON, May 9. Despite the record arrival of two and a-half million lambs at Smithfield, April prices improved last week. This if attributed to there being less mutton en route than for the corresponding period of last year, ami to the. regulation of New Zealand shipments.
