GENERAL BERENGUER RELEASED ACTIONS DURING DICTATORSHIP Received Mav 10, 7.55 p.m. MADRID, May 9. The Supreme Court released General Berenguer, dismissing the application authorising proceedings against him in connection with his actions during the dictatorship. Scnor Delos Rios now admits that the Government is taking action in relation to the Primate’s pastoral. Journalists asked if the Government were seeking the Primate’s recall. A reply was de dined. Meanwhile Cabinet has concclled the compulsory religious teaching in primary schools. The entire crew of the battleship Jaime the First marched to the Town Hall at Ferrol and complained of the food and the high-handedness of the second officer. The Mayor telegraphed Madrid for instructions, whereupon the crew were arrested en bloc and charged with mutiny.
