TAIHAPE CATTLE FAIR Dalgety and Company Ltd. had an entry of 840 head of cattle at their Tnihapc Autumn Cattle Fair on Wednesday, and report a clearance with the exception of a few small pens. Young cattle of all classes sold well above late rates. The demand for grown cattle was fair, but aged cows, both empty and in calf, were neglected. Included in the offering was a particu larly good line of 157 weaner llereforo steers, and a pen of 85 weaner Hereford heifers account Air J. F. Stuu'holme, and these met with keen competition, the steers selling at £2 10s, £2 Ils, and the heifers at 30s.
