WANGANUI CENTRE SATURDAY MATCHES TIKE WEATHER PREVAILS Fine weather prevailed on Saturday afternoon for bowling activities in Wanganui. On some of the greens Nixon Cup games w r cre played, while St. John’s and ’’’’anganui indulged in Senior Shield and Willis Shield games. Results were as follows:

ST. JOHN’S CLUB .. John’s Bowling Club’s gti. .ere occupied on Saturday by game.-! with Wanganui Club for the Senior and Willis Shields, the clubs having tied and a replay thus being necessary. St. John’s won both shields, being 14 up in the Senior games and 28 up in the Junior games on the aggregate. As usual the ladies of this popular seaside club provided a delicious afternoon tea. On the aggregate Wanganui East won by 24 points.
