FIRE DUE TO SNAKE
HOUSE AND SHOP BURNT. A snake found its found into tho dwelling of Mr P. Northcott. a painter, of Nathalia, Victoria, early one morning recently. In his attempt to kill the creature, Air Northcott knocked a burning oil lamp from the table on to the floor. An explosion .followed, resulting in the destruction by fire of the house, an attached shop, and stock and furniture. The loss was partly covered by insurance.
