LIFE FOR A DOG
How a woman lost her life through anxiety for her dog was recently described at an inquest at Liverpool on Maud Annie Wardle, aged 50, of ‘ igburth, who was knocked down and fatally injured by a motor-cycle. A constable said that he took a statement from the woman in hospital, in which she said: “I was taking my dog for a walk along Aigburth Road. 1 er »ss cd the road, when my dog ran on ir front of me. I was too anxious for he dog and did not look after myself. 1 was hit by something and was knocked down.-”
