CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Sir, — L am writing to protest against the use of your columns for the abuse of a Christian creed; in the case of ‘A.T.,” the correspondence opened with questions on the part of “A.T.” which were replied to on two occasions. Since then “AT.” has been getting more rabid until he is literally frothim. at the mouth. Wild statements flowfrom his pen without any attempt to provide an accurate discussion. The excellent daily publication known as the “Christian Sicence Monitor” is the best reply to the statement that the movement is ‘ the sworn foe of everything human,’ the paper is brimming over with news of human interest from all parts of the world and I think that you will agree with me, Sir, that the paper is up to date. The excuse that the movement is new is also untrue, sixty-four years is well past the jubileeMay I conclude by congratulating Richard Wodderspoon on his sensible broad-minded letter, I shall not be contributing further to the discussion. Thanking you. “OMEGA” The correspondence concerning Christian Science is now closed—Editor, Wanganui “Chronicle”
