KEESING CUP MATCH
WANGANUI EAST CHALLENGE. WANGANUI RETAINS TROPHY. On their green yesterday the Wanganui Bowling Club successfully defended the Kcesing Cup against a challenge from the Wanganui East Club. The weather was ideal and thv green played truly, some fine heads being provided during play. However, the Wanganui Club’s rink were playing good bowls and scored on thirteen heads to their opponents’ seven. The Wanganui East skip foi’eed tho pace and succeeded in burning half a dozen heads. The holders eventually ran out with a large winning margin. Following were the scores: —Joll, Wakelin, Moorby, Stewart (Wanganui East) 7. v. McAneny, Flower, Tilley, London (Wanganui) 26.
