SWIMMING
SUCCESSFUL CLUB NIGHT RACING AT GONVILLE. For the first time this season satisfactory weather hag been experienced for conducting swimming races. Both Gonville clubs have endeavoured on previous occasions to hold races but have been forced to postpone them. Conditions were good last, night, however, and some good racing was provided. Results were as follows: Gonville Ladies’ Club. Gilberd Cup (66 2-3 yards).—Miss B. Summercll .1, Dtiss M. Batt 2, Miss J. Summcrell 3. Mr W. A. Veitch’s trophy (33 1-3 yards). —Miss V.
