A BRIGHT PRODUCTION PROCEEDS FOR CHARITY “The Romantic Age.” a three act play by A- A. Milne, was presented by ex-pupils of the Wanganui Technical College last evening. The proceeds are to go to charity and as a result, conIF siderable benefit should be experienced. Included in a very large audience were the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, Minister of Railways and Air \\. J. Rogers, Mayor of Wanganui. The cast which was as follows is to be congratulated on a meritorious performance: Henry Knowle (R. Davis), Mary Knowle. his wife (Vahnai Piper)’ Melisande. his daughter (Catherine Stone). Jane Bagot. his niece (Iris Soeberg). Bobby Coote (L. Broadhead). Gervase Mallory (L. Mumford), Eru fH- Whiting). Gentleman Susan (E. Sharland), Alice (A- Kearse).
