SOVIET PROSECUTIONS
IMPORTANT REVELATION PARIS Dec. 1. An illuminating commentary on the trial of professors at Moscow is the revelation that Ryadushinski, -who Ramzin declared was the principal int’ermediatary in 1927 in arranging French co-operation against the Soviet died here in 1924. The disclosure is rather embarrassing to the prosecutor as it discounts most of Ramzin’s evidence. COMMENT ON BRITAIN STATEMENTS REFUTED [British Official Wireless]. RUGBY, Dec. 1. Tho Hon. A. Henderson in reply to a number of questions regarding statements made with reference to the British Government, during the trial proceeding at Moscow, said that he had made a careful examination of the full transaction of the documents issued by tho Soviet Government.
Mr Henderson added: “The British Ambassador at Moscow has accordingly on my instructions informed the Soviet Government that insofar as the comments of the public prosecutor on the depositions made by the accused have been accepted officially by the Soviet Government I take exception to the passages which contain adverse and unfounded reflections upon the late and present Governments-”
