Mr and Mrs J. Wright leave Wanganui to-day to take up residence in Christchurch. Mrs R. L. Gibson returned yesterday from a brief visit to Marton. Mrs N. B. Gibbons has returned to Lower Hutt from a visit to Wanganui Mr Harrison Cook arrived from Wellington yesterday to take part in the Wanganui Choral Society's concert. Mrs Allan Jamieson, Castlecliff, has returned to Wanganui with her two children, after a holiday in Australia. Mrs E.. Pirani is a Fcilding visitor to Wanganui. Miss Crysell was a visitor to the Chateau recently. Miss Slattery left yesterday on a visit 1o Hawera. Mrs H. R- Fisher is visiting Marton, where she will give an address on , gardening. She is at present the guest of Mrs Crook. ‘Mr and Mrs T. Rhodes, formerly of Wanganui, who have been visiting friends here, have taken up residence in Havelock North. Mrs F. E. M-e Gregor and her daughter. Miss J. Mcllvride, Sedgebrook, have returned from Wellington.
