SEQUEL TO ALTERCATION
THE POLICE VERSION [Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 2.
As a sequel to an altercation last night Frederick William Hardwick was charged at Onehunga with assaulting Charles Royal Porter so as to cause bodily harm. The police said that it was alleged that Hardwick struck Porter with an iron bar. There had been domestic discord. Porter might be a long time in hospital. Accused was remanded on bail.
