FROM THE LOG:— ROTORUA FROM LONDON. an uneventful passage from London and Southampton, via Curacao, Panama Canal and Suva, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rotorua arrived at Wellington on Saturday evening, to disembark passengers ami mails. The ship has a small quantity of cargo to land at Wellington. REMUERA FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Remuera, from London and Southampton, via Curacao and the Panama Canal, arrived at Wellington on Saturday morning and berthed at Pipitea Wharf to disembark passengers and mails. The ship has a large general cargo to land at Wellington and at Auckland, for which port she will leave at the end of the week. She will load for London at Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton, Timaru and Wellington, and will sail finally from Wellington on January 3 for London, via the Panama Canal and Southampton.

MAUNGANUI DUE. The Union liner Maunganui, from Sydney, was due at Wellington at 7 o’clock yesterday morning. Her passengers, mails and cargo for overseas will be transhipped to the Monowai. which leaves this afternoon on her first voyage to San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. The Maunganui is to leave Wellington on December 12 for Sydney. The Marama, which is due at Auckland this morning from Sydney will come south and will leave Wellington at 8 p.fa. on Friday on her return to Sydney.

RANGITANE FOR LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company’e motor ’liner Rangitane, now completing loading at Auckland, is to leave that port at daybreak next Saturday for Southampton and London, taking passengers and mails.

CORINTHIC DUE SHORTLY. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Corinthin cleared Balboa last Tuesday, en route from Southampton to Welling.»n, where she is due on December 15. Her ports of discharge are Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. The veesel is to commence her loading at Bluff about December 27, and she will complete at Timaru. Port Chalmers, Pieton, and Wellington, She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on January 14 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
