Newman has made 22,188, including a break of 309 (unfinished). McConachy made 12,268, including breaks of 544 and 319. At snooker Davis has made 841, Lindrum 554, Newman 971, and McConachy 698. When play closed yesterday Davis had made 12,862, including a break of 1418; Lindrum 10,822. Including breaks of 207, 420, 315, 279 and 212. At snooker Davis was 1734 and Lindrum 1407.
The Bishop of Leicester was aw terested spectator in the evening. Newman had made 20,060, including breaks of .1239, 552 and 1202. McConachy had reached 11,079, includ'ng breaks* of 256 and 277. At snooker Newman was 1819 and McConachy 1580.
