BLIND INSTITUTE
As in previous years, the Jubilee Institute for the Blind stall at the Agricultural Show attracted a good deal of attention and a astisfactory sale of the goods resulted. Mr Lunnon, of the Lunnon Shoe Shop, Guyton Street, has kindly allowed the balance of unsold goods to be displayed free of charge in his shop, for a short time, where it is hoped further sales will be effected. The public are earnestly invited to call and inspect these goods and to endeavour to realise what a boon it is to the blind to be given the opportunity to employ their time. Baskets made by a blind resident of Wanganui are also on view.
