SCALLIWAG STEW. Mince 11b. beef steak or stewing beef with one onion. Season with salt and pepper, and a very little thyme, add a few breadcrumbs and a little water. Roll into balls the size of scalliwag balls on a well-floured plate and stew with a little water. Add onions and carrots chopped if you like.
