ONE FORESTRY SCHOOL
LOCATION IN CANTERBURY MINISTER’S ANNOUNCEMENT [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 19. In future there wil be only one school of forestry in the Dominion, and it will be situated in Canterbury. This announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Hon. H. Atmore, speaking at the opening of additions to the Girls’ High School to-day. Tho Minister said he had had to give careful consideration to the question and had come to tho conclusion that it be unwise to have two schools. He was convinced that Canterbury was the best place in the Dominion for such a school, and here it would bo located.
